Student Leader Networking Reception - Wednesday, November 18th, 6PM-8PM
Hosted by the Office of Campus Activites, Leadership Assistant Team, and USGA
Bossone Research Enterprise Center, 3rd Floor Atrium
Join us for a night of networking, collaboration and free food at the Fall 2009 Student Leader Networking Reception. We are bringing together Drexel's top student leadership in order to get your opinions on hot topics like Sodexo (Chestnut Street Caterers) and Event Services as well as give you an opportunity to network with other leaders on campus.
The event is completely free, and open to the invited students (Student Organization Presidents) and one guest from your group, preferably an up and coming leader. We're going to start at 6 and go til 8, but feel free to stick around after! Check-in and registration begins at 5:30pm.
Please email leader@drexel.edu with you and your guest's names, emails addresses, organiziation that you are representing, and your current position titles by 12pm - 11/18 (Wed).
If you cannot attend please feel free to send a representative from your organization in your place.

What is a Drexel Leadership Assistant (LA)? LA Presentation (PowerPoint).
• The Leadership Assistants (LA's) are experienced Drexel students who are para- professional members of the Campus Activities staff.
• The Leadership Assistants have the responsibility of implementing programs and activities that support all student leadership development .
• The Leadership Assistants work as a team to provide educational opportunities and leadership resources for leaders and members of student organizations.

The Office of Campus Activities' Leadership Development mission is to create meaningful opportunities for students to develop leadership skills and strategies that are critical for success in student organizational, academic, and professional environments.
We will accomplish this mission through:
• Providing leadership development education and training via workshop, seminars, conferences, and experiential learning
• Serving as a clearinghouse for leadership materials
• Providing resources, consulting, and facilitation services to student organization
• Recognizing exemplary student accomplishments
• Inspiring, encouraging, and empowering students to achieve their leadership potential.
