More Details on the Program's Format:
The event will begin at 6 p.m. with light refreshments and food. At 6:30 p.m., the panelists and moderator will answer questions that the attendees have in regards to some specific topics. Following the formal Q&A discussion, the students and alumni panelists will be divided into groups according to profession or field of study, giving students an opportunity to ask questions and network with alumni who are working in their desired field, such as business, engineering, healthcare, etc. After these "breakout sessions" revolving around specific fields or industries, students will be able to have their résumé critiqued by experienced alumni and staff. With both the formal panel discussion and the breakout discussions, students will be better prepared for co-op and seniors will learn more about their post-college career and networking opportunities, as well as learn some valuable insight about life after graduation from alumni who have recent experience outside of Drexel. The panelists and alumni in attendance will have the opportunity to network with current students before and after the panel discussion. All alumni are also encouraged to attend to share their Drexel experiences with students, as well as meet and connect with other alumni in attendance.
