EAT.RIGHT.NOW. is the official Nutrition Education Program (Tracks) of the School District of Philadelphia.  The program is funded through the USDA and provides nutrition education programs to food stamp eligible adults and children.

This is the sixth year of our Nutrition Education Program and requests for our services have steadily increased throughout the years.  The Tracks staff includes full and part time nutrition educators, administrative staff, support staff, and student interns.  The SDP Tracks partners with other agencies to provide integrated nutrition education programs to all Tracks-eligible schools in the School District of Philadelphia.  The other agencies include:

Each eligible school in the district is assigned to receive services from one or more of the agencies listed above.  One or all of the programs listed below may be offered. 

    • Nutrition Education in the Classroom (K – 12)
    • Nutrition Advisory Councils
    • Assembly Programs
    • Nutrition TV Shows on School District Cable Channel 52
    • Cafeteria Promotions
    • After School Programs/Nutrition Clubs
    • Summer Camp Nutrition Activities
    • Fruit and Vegetable Markets
    • Corner Store Campaigns
    • School Gardens
    • Healthy Cooking Classes & Food Tasting Sessions Health Fairs & Community Events
    • Parent Workshops/Home & School Meetings
    • Staff Training: Food Service Managers, Health and Physical Education Teachers, Nurses, Principals
