May: Educator of the Month

Rachel Harris

Rachel has been an Eat.Right.Now. Nutrition Educator for almost a year!  She is a graduate of the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown New Jersey.  She completed a Dietetic Internship Program at New York-Presbyterian Hospital.  Rachel was raised in Central New Jersey.  Rachel loves to travel and enjoys dancing.  She is very interested in international cuisine, nutrition and music. 

She partners with six schools within the School District of Philadelphia.  They are Dobbins High School, Gratz High School, Randolph Technical High School, Overbrook High School, Roxborough High School and Grover Washington, Jr. Middle School.  Rachel loves to teach the fast food lesson and enjoys sharing the fast food frenzy activity with the students.  She has started a cooking club at Gratz High School and this month started “food tasting sessions” at Dobbins High School.
