Lessons for Elementary School
This theme-based program is a series of seven lessons addressing various nutrition issues for elementary school students. Lessons include Discovering the World of Nutrition with The Hand Washing Caper, Inspector Fruitee, Salsa Sleuths, Snack and Act Mystery, The Great Grain Mystery, and It’s a Wrap! Check out the lesson plans, games and activities, newsletters, and recipes.
Gardening is the theme of this program that teaches elementary school students all about health and nutrition. Lessons include Seasonal Foods, Hand Washing, Here We Grow!, Building Blocks of Good Health, Eat Your Seeds, Anchors and Roots, Stems and Leaves, and Flowers and Fruits. Lesson plans, teaching aids such as The Pollination Game, newsletters, and recipes can be viewed and downloaded.
