Janelle Steiger

Janelle was raised in Sinking Spring, PA (near Reading) and earned her B.S. in Nutrition/Dietetics from Immaculata University in 2008. She still serves as a board member there. Before she came to Drexel University, she completed a dietetic internship with Sodexo Healthcare Services in Allentown, PA.

Janelle partnered during the 2009-2010 school year with eight schools within the School District of Philadelphia, They are Feltonville Arts and Sciences MS, Franklin Learning Center (HS), William H. Harrison School (ES), Mariana Bracetti Charter School (K-12), Jules E. Mastbaum HS, Philadelphia HS for Business and Technology, General Louis Wagner MS, Woodrow Wilson MS.

Janelle likes to prepare meals on a budget. She loves to travel and try new things, especially foods from different cultures.
