  • ​FREE OUTDOOR SUMMER FILM SERIES COMING TO DREXEL PARK

    Beginning Thursday, June 20, University City District (UCD) and The Awesome Fest, in collaboration with Drexel, will present a free 8-week summer film series at Drexel Park, one of the city’s most scenic green spaces. The films—all celebrating the 1980s—will be presented on a state-of-the-art, 30-foot outdoor screen. All films begin at dusk.

    • June 20: Revenge of the Nerds
    • June 27: Adventures in Babysitting
    • July 11: Spaceballs
    • July 18: Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure
    • July 25: Die Hard
    • August 1: Batman
    • August 8: A Nightmare on Elm Street III
    • August 15: The Neverending Story

  • New Student Orientation 2013

    ​New Parents & Families
    Registration is now open for Summer and Fall Orientation. Click here​ for instructions on how your student can register for orientation. You are also invited to the Family Program at Orientation to find out more about how to support your student through their Drexel experience.

    Current Parents & Families
    The Drexel Family Association hosts the Dean’s Dessert Reception during New Student Orientation where current parents and families casually interact with and answer questions from new parents and families. Dessert Receptions are held on Mondays and Thursdays between 6 and 7:30 p.m. on the following dates:

    • Monday, July 1 (Engineering, Goodwin)
    • Monday, July 8 (Arts & Sciences, Education, Engineering)
    • Thursday, July 11 (Biomed, Media Arts & Design, Nursing & Health Professions)
    • Monday, July 15 (Arts & Sciences, Business)
    • Thursday, July 18 (Biomed, Business)
    • Monday, July 22 (Engineering)
    • Thursday, July 25 (Business, Education, Goodwin)

  • Save the Date for Spring Move Out

    ​Saturday, June 15 at 10 a.m. is the deadline for students to fully move out of their residence halls if they are not signed up for summer 2013 housing. Students should move out of the residence halls within 24 hours of completing their last final exam, or by 10 a.m. on June 15 (whichever is earlier). Students changing assignments between spring and summer will move on Sunday, June 16 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Mark your calendars and be aware of these dates when making travel arrangements.​
