Donna DeCarolis Named Associate Vice Provost for Entrepreneurship Education
Donna DeCarolis has joined the Office of the Provost in her new role as associate vice provost for entrepreneurship education.
For the past eight years, DeCarolis has worked to strengthen and expand the curriculum and research in entrepreneurship at LeBow College of Business, and she now will work closely with Vice Provost John DiNardo to do the same across the entire University. In this role, she will oversee the Baiada Institute, develop a cohesive and collaborative approach to entrepreneurial education at Drexel, create interdisciplinary opportunities for student business start-ups, engage our alumni in entrepreneurial activities and be the spokesperson for Drexel’s entrepreneurial initiatives.
“In my first few months in this new role, the most important thing I’ll be doing is to begin discussions with colleges and schools across the University as to how to move entrepreneurship as a truly interdisciplinary learning opportunity for Drexel students,” DeCarolis said.
DeCarolis will continue as the associate dean, responsible for LeBow’s graduate programs, and remain a tenured faculty member in the Management Department. Murugan Anandarajan, who has been serving as the assistant department head, has agreed to serve as interim department head.
