What: Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business and the Global Independence Center present “Turmoil in the U.S. Credit Market and the Global Outlook” featuring world renowned experts who will analyze current state of U.S. and global economy.
Who: Dr. Joseph Mason, professor of finance, Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business, who has gained national and international acclaim for his work on the subprime housing crisis will delve further into the issue with a presentation entitled, “Debt Markets and Toxic Paper: What Happens Next?”
Henry Kaufman, president of Henry Kaufman & Company, will examine “Financial Crises: Causes, Cures, Impacts on the Economy.”
William Poole, former president of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, and senior fellow, Cato Institute, will offer his insight on global monetary issues.
David Kotok, chief investment officer, Cumberland Advisors, will discuss the “Global and U.S. Stock Markets: Where Are We Now?: The Global Perspective.”
Michael Farr, Farr, Miller & Washington, LLC, will present “Global and U.S. Stock Markets: Where Are We Now?: The U.S. Perspective.”
Steve Liesman, senior economics reporter, CNBC, will speak about the “Challenges for Media Reporting of the Credit Crisis.”
