Wachovia Mid-Atlantic CEO Hugh C. Long II to Be Honored as Drexel’s Business Leader of the Year

What: Hugh C. Long, CEO of Wachovia’s Mid-Atlantic Banking Group, will receive Drexel University’s 54th Business Leader of the Year award at a luncheon packed with hundreds of Greater Philadelphia’s top business executives. The event benefits Drexel’s LeBow College of Business.
Affiliated with Wachovia for more than 30 years, Long has served as president of its Atlanta regional office and president of First Union Mid-Atlantic, First Union Georgia and First Union Washington, D.C.
Long is a member of the board of directors of Central Philadelphia Development Corporation, Committee of Seventy, Drexel University, Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation, Innovation Philadelphia and others.
