Global Night of Networking 2012

Drexel President John Fry recently led a delgation to Turkey to strengthen biomedical research partnerships. While there, members of the delegation attended a special networking reception on April 19.
The Drexel Alumni Association held its second annual Alumni Global Night of Networking on Thursday, April 19. Networking receptions were held in 51 cities, including Philadephia (pictured left), and in eight countries including the United States, Greece, China, Germany, Turkey, India, England and British Columbia. Overall, 576 alumni and guests attended the receptions and 1,338 alumni participated in the Global Night of Networking via social media throughout the day.
On the same night, Drexel alumni and guests attended a networking reception in Istanbul including President John Fry and his wife, Cara, Senior Vice President of Institutional Advancement Elizabeth Dale, and Banu Onaral, director of Drexel’s School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems. This event was held to connect Drexel alumni, accepted students, parents, friends and partners in research and education from Turkish universities and companies with Drexel administrators and faculty.
