April 25, 2008

Philadelphia
What: Despite the 75-degree temperature forecast for tomorrow, snow will be hitting Drexel University’s Quad. The Inter-Fraternity Council and Office of Campus Activities will introduce the first annual “Winter in the Spring” since it didn’t snow much in the Delaware Valley this winter.

Visuals: Real snow will cover Drexel’s Quad, which will be transformed into a winter wonderland and allow students to enjoy an evening of sledding, snowman building, snowball throwing and ice skating. Huge snow-creating equipment will create the snow on the spot.

When: today, April 25, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The snow will melt by 7 p.m.

Where: Drexel’s Quad (33rd street, between Market and Chestnut streets)
