Dr. Mariana Chilton, assistant professor of health policy and management at the School of Public Health, was quoted in a story posted to the Crikey Health Blog November 19, 2009 about the rising hunger among children in America. Results from a study conducted by researchers at the School of Public Health were featured November 19, 2009 in U.S.News & World Report, The Palm Beach Post, EmpowHer.com and MSN.com. The study found that seniors who eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and who have good cognitive function are much less likely to die from heart disease.
