Green Topic: Fairmount Park Cleanup

The Drexel Circle K club is hosting a day of service at Fairmount Park on Saturday, November 7, 2009 from 9 a.m. to noon.  The group will pick up trash, remove foreign plants and plant new, native plants to promote the healthy growth of the park and the community. 

The group will meet at 9 a.m. outside Creese Student Center (32nd and Chestnut Streets). Transportation to the park will be provided. After the event, the group will return to the University City Main Campus for free pizza.

The event is open to the Drexel community.  The activity can be used for University 101 service requirement. For more information, email bas59@drexel.edu.
