Dr. John Lacontora is currently an Associate Research Professor at Drexel University in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics. John is a retired US Army officer who served a majority of his military career in ground vehicle systems support and managed applied research projects in Advanced Diagnostic Tools, Collaborative Virtual Environments, Performance Support Systems and Training Simulations. John held management and engineering positions at The Boeing Company, Booz Allen Hamilton and at the Janus Research Group. He received his PhD in Information Systems and MS in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
