Thursday, April 18, 2024

1:00 PM-3:00 PM

Robert Kesten, Executive Director of the Stonewall National Museum, Archives, & Library in Florida will be on-site on Thursday April 18 between the hours of 1-3pm, and Monday April 22 between the hours of 10-12pm to discuss the inspiration and thoughts behind the exhibition. Stop by to engage in exhilarating conversation and discussion, and to gain a better understanding behind the exhibition.

Standing on the Shoulders of Heroes is a constantly growing exhibit that introduces us to those in our community who have made a recognizable difference in the lives of people within our community. Some changed the cultural landscape, others politics, and yet others our daily lives. All deserve to be celebrated.

Never Silent looks at the juxtaposition between those events, individuals, and the realities we face. Some are positive, some, like banning books, are harmful and dangerous, while speaking and coming out can save lives. Based on history, are we moving in the right direction?

The exhibition will be on display in the URBN Center lobby of the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design at Drexel University from April 16th - April 23rd, 24th hosts a private event . Accessible hours are Monday through Friday, from 10am - 4pm EST.
