Dr. Christopher Vinnard cares for patients with HIV and other infectious diseases at the Partnership Comprehensive Care Practice and Hahnemann University Hospital, in Center City Philadelphia. He is board certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases, and holds a Certificate of Knowledge in clinical tropical medicine and travelers' health from the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. Dr. Vinnard also holds masters degrees in public health and clinical epidemiology.

Dr. Vinnard is an assistant professor of medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine.

Prior to joining the College's faculty, he taught a doctoring course for medical students during his residency at New York University and the infectious disease elective for medical students at the University of Pennsylvania.


Dr. Vinnard studies host and pathogen factors that influence the clinical outcomes of tuberculosis, with a focus on HIV-associated tuberculosis.
