Pathologists' Assistant (PathA) How to Apply

Admission in granted on a rolling basis and qualified candidates are required to have a telephone interview.

  When you are ready to apply to the Pathologists' Assistant program, visit the Banner online application website and choose the program code PathA.

Admission Requirements

Candidates for admission to the Pathologists' Assistant (PathA) program must have the following credentials:

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. college or university or an international equivalent
  • Prerequisite coursework includes microbiology, anatomy, physiology, mathematics, English composition, general chemistry, organic chemistry and/or biochemistry, and biology.
  • A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher to be competitive
  • Official General Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores at or above the 50th percentile
  • Math/Science GPA calculation form [PDF]
  • Three letters of evaluation from faculty who have taught you courses
  • Official transcripts from all colleges and universities where coursework was attempted or taken
  • Resume

  • Application fee: $75 (U.S. check or money order payable to Drexel University or pay application fee online)
  • Application cycle starts in June for matriculation the following May 
  • GRE school code is 2194, department code is 0215
