Diversity, Equity & Inclusion For Staff

Drexel Medicine staff providing free medical screenings at the annual Philly BeWell Boot Camp event.

College of Medicine staff provide an institutional framework that supports many student and faculty initiatives. Our staff are key drivers in our efforts to create a truly collaborative academic environment.

The College of Medicine is committed to recruiting and retaining a diverse staff by seeking people from various backgrounds who contribute to the genuine sense of belonging at Drexel and value our institutional diversity mission. More importantly than the number of people represented from different groups, we focus on developing a community representative of all backgrounds who accept, value and celebrate what diversity can do for the institution and its members.

Carmen Cruz-Adames

"What I've most enjoyed about my time working here is the people I've met whose journeys have led them through our department, particularly the students. It has been wonderful getting to know these individuals and seeing them complete their degrees and move on to their post-graduate work." Read more from Carmen Cruz-Adames.
