Research Interests
Mathematical signal and image processing together with Clifford algebra and analysis, computer vision, machine learning, applied functional analysis, compressive sensing and sparse representation.
Biography
Jean-Luc received a master of engineering in applied mathematics and computer science from the french polytechnical institute in Toulouse (INP-ENSEEIHT). During his last year he was also working for T-Systems International GmbH, Darmstadt, Germany, developing artificial intelligence softwares for mobile devices. After that he was a research assistant within the department of knowledge-based mathematical systems at the Johannes Kepler university of Linz, Austria, where he completed his doctoral degree about structures and irregularities in image processing in 2012. He joined the math department at Drexel university as a postdoctoral researcher in November 2012.
