Biography
R. Andrew Hicks received a B.A. in Mathematics from Queens College, CUNY in 1988, an M.A. in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania in 1991, and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania in 1995. He taught mathematics and studied computer science at Penn in 1995-96, and from 1996-1999 was a postdoc in the GRASP laboratory at the University of Pennsylvania, performing researching on vision based control of autonomous robots. He has been an assistant professor at Drexel since 1999.
