Philadelphia Bar Association Quarterly Luncheon:
June 19, 2006
More than 30 members of Drexel Law’s Inaugural Class attended the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Quarterly Luncheon on May 19, 2006, to hear Kweisi Mfume give the annual A. Leon Higginbotham Public Interest Lecture. Mr. Mfume served as Congressman before becoming President of the NAACP, in which post he served for more than decade before deciding to seek election as a US Senator for Maryland. Sixteen of Drexel’s students are pictured here with Mr. Mfume (second row, second from left) and Drexel Senior Vice President Tobey Oxholm (second row, at far right). Other photos from the event follow.
