Despite attempts by Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant to legislatively end abortion and anti-abortion terrorists' vandalization of the one remaining abortion clinic in the state, abortions will still be provided by the clinic, Professor David S. Cohen and alumna Krysten Connon reported in a March 25 article in Slate.

The article recounts the numerous acts of vandalism against abortion providers, not only in Mississippi, but throughout the country. Cohen and Connon also discuss other efforts in the state to thwart abortion providers - like hospitals in the state shutting out clinic doctors because of the hospitals' anti-abortion sentiments or fear of backlash from protestors.

The Slate article offers a preview of Cohen and Connon’s upcoming book, “Living in the Crosshairs: the Untold Stories of Anti-Abortion Terrorism,” which Oxford University Press will publish in May.
