U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commissioner J. Christopher Giancarlo will give a guest lecture.
 
Prior to his appointment by President Obama, Commissioner Giancarlo served as executive vice president of the financial services firm, GFI Group Inc. He previously served as executive vice president and U.S. legal counsel of Fenics Software and was a corporate partner at Brown Raysman Millstein Felder & Steiner in New York.
 
He has testified before Congress regarding the Dodd-Frank Act and has spoken extensively on legal and policy matters involving technology and the financial markets.  He received his JD from Vanderbilt University School of Law.
