Skills Lab: Basic Practical Skills for Serving Clients in West Philadelphia

This panel discussion will feature attorneys and students delivering legal services in West Philadelphia. It will focus on how to gather useful and accurate information from clients, how to address challenges that occur when working with clients, how to develop trust with clients, and how to acknowledge and address social issues that often accompany legal issues.

The Skills Lab aims to provide a forum for students to develop practicable skills through sessions led by attorneys and other expert professionals. This Skills Lab will be of interest to students who are interested in working directly with clients, working in public interest, and working with diverse populations.
