Professor Tabatha Abu El-Haj Presents at Scholars’ Conference at Yale Law School

Professor Tabatha Abu El-Haj is presenting “Having a Different Conversation about Money and Politics” at the Freedom of Expression Scholars Conference on May 2.

Abu El-Haj’s presentation is part of a plenary panel on campaign finance and the First Amendment that also includes a presentation by Richard L. Hasen, the Chancellor’s Professor of Law and Political Science at the University of California-Irvine, and is being moderated by Yale Law School Professor Jack Balkin.

The conference is co-sponsored by the Abrams Institute at Yale Law School.

An authority on the American political process, Abu El-Haj is particularly interested in increasing the accountability of political institutions through democratic participation. Her recent scholarship has appeared in Arizona Law Review and the University of Pennsylvania Journal Of Constitutional Law.
