Professor Chapin Cimino Presents at Syracuse University College of Law

Professor Chapin Cimino was a presenter at Virtue, Citizenship and the Law, the Fourth Annual Syracuse University College of Law Interdisciplinary Workshop on May 22.

Cimino’s talk, “The Business People Said That? We Must All Be Aristotelians Now,” reflects her scholarship on the roles of virtue, sincerity and objectivity in legal transactions and litigation.

Her publications include "Campus Citizenship and Associational Freedom: An Aristotelian Take on the Nondiscrimination Puzzle," in the William & Mary Bill of Rights Journal, "Virtue and Contract Law," in the Oregon Law Review, "Private Law, Public Consequences, and Virtue Jurisprudence," in the University of Pittsburgh Law Review.
