Welcome to the Earle Mack School of Law Legal Research Center

Legal Research Center Renovation Update

Those who know Drexel know that change is a constant.  The same is true for the Earle Mack School of Law Legal Research Center which will be going through a major renovation beginning June 2, 2008, fourteen months after opening to students.

The renovation is part of a larger renovation of the law school space that will result in additional classrooms, more faculty offices, better student gathering space, dedicated offices for the law review, and increased seating, group study rooms, and study space in the Legal Research Center.

The renovation is proceeding in three phases.  The first phase, which has been underway for the past several months, entails renovating the third floor of the Hagerty Library for eventual use by the Legal Research Center.  The second phase involves closing the Legal Research Center as of June 2, 2008 and relocating the circulation, reserves, and reference services to the main floor of Hagerty.  The final phase involves remodeling the Legal Research Center’s third floor with a new circulation and reference area and improved seating.  During these phases, students wishing to use Legal Research Center services must enter through the Hagerty entrance. In mid-August, the entire Legal Research Center, including its new entrance on the third floor of the school of law, will open.
