10/1/09 - New CALI lessons for Fall 2009
CALI has recently been updated with several new lessons:
- Water Law Basics: Rights in Ground Water
- Water Law: Equitable Apportionment
- Consideration: Advanced Issues
- Utah Legal Research

8/15/09 - CCH Databases Merge Into CCH IntelliConnect
CCH has combined their 3 databases - Business & Finance, Health & Human Resources, and Tax Research - into their new CCH IntelliConnect platform. This new platform allows for searching across databases, better customization, and quicker navigation. When you login for the first time, you will be required to create a username and password.
NOTE: CCH currently recommends using Internet Explorer to view IntelliConnect, as other browsers can cause display issues.
6/11/09 - Cross-library searching now available for HeinOnline journals.
When searching in the Law Journal Library in HeinOnline, you will now see search results from journal titles found in the Kluwer Law International Journal Library, Part I: International Yearbooks and Periodicals of the Foreign and International Law Resources Database, and in ALI-ABA Publications which are found in Part III of the American Law Institute Collection. This cross-library searching will further enhance the searching experience in HeinOnline by retrieving and displaying results across all relevant journals and periodicals from these collections.
3/18/09 - New CALI lessons for Spring 2009

12/1/08 - LIVEDGAR is now on Westlaw Business
The LIVEDGAR database will now be available through Westlaw Business. The updated database will contain the same LIVEDGAR data, but will allow for better searching and integration with Westlaw resources. Please note that access is available from Legal Research Center and Law School PCs only.
10/6/08 - The complete Congressional Record now available through HeinOnline
HeinOnline has completed digitizing the complete backfile of the Congressional Record, the complete printed chronicle of debates, proceedings and speeches of the United States Congress. Their coverage of the Congressional Record now covers 1873 to the present, along with earlier congressional debates cataloged in the Annals of Congress (1789-1824), Register of Debates (1824-1837) and Congressional Globe (1833-1873).
