Professor Robert Field's Health Care Expertise Tapped By Media

In numerous ABC News.com reports, Professor Robert Field has discussed issues related to H1N1 influenza and vaccines, President Obama's health care speech and pediatric emergency departments.

The Philadelphia Inquirer has quoted Professor Field in articles and columns pertaining to Medicare policy for kidney transplant medications, the proposed public option for health care and health care co-ops.

The New York Times featured a review of President Obama's health care speech by Professor Field on its Letters to the Editor page.

Professor Field discussed the viability of health care co-ops on WOR Radio's "The Steve Malzberg Show."

Professor Robert Field joined WHYY's senior health and science reporter Kerry Grens for an hour-long Web discussion on the health care reform debate.

He recently participated in a town hall meeting focused on health care reform. Hosted by Dom Giordano and presented and broadcast by WPHT-AM 1210 - The Big Talker and the Philadelphia Daily News, "Health Care Reform: A Medical Emergency" was broadcast live from the Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News building at 400 N. Broad St., Philadelphia.

The author of "Health Care Regulation in America: Complexity, Confrontation, and Compromise," Field is a nationally known expert on public health and health law.
