Chelsea Clinton Makes Campaign Stop at Drexel Law - When Pennsylvania’s Democratic presidential primary was looming, Chelsea Clinton visited Drexel Law to campaign on behalf of her mother, U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York.

Auction Raises $14,000 for Public-Interest Summer Work - The First Annual Slice of Justice Public-Interest Experience Auction was a tremendous success, raising nearly $14,000 for students who take unpaid summer jobs helping indigent area residents.

Drexel College of Law the Toast of the Legal Community - Judges from the federal, Pennsylvania and New Jersey judiciaries and attorneys from the Philadelphia area joined administrators, faculty and students at a reception in the Great Hall on March 12 to toast the provisional accreditation of the Law School.

Death Penalty Critics Decry Lapses in Criminal Justice System - Lorry Post, the executive director of Murder Victims’ Families for Reconciliation, and Harold Wilson, a South Philadelphia native who was the 122nd American freed from death row, spoke on March 20 at an event sponsored by the school chapter of the National Lawyers Guild.

Leaders of Pakistani Lawyers’ Movement Speak at Drexel Law School - Two of the lawyers who were swept up in last year’s constitutional tug-of-war in Pakistan are touring U.S. cities to talk about the crisis that drew global attention and put advocates for the rule of law in jail.

Drexel Law Celebrates Our Provisional Accreditation - Drexel University President Constantine Papadakis was pleased to announce that the College of Law had been provisionally accredited by the American Bar Association – a milestone reached less than 18 months after the school was launched.
