The law school's online Master of Legal Studies and Certificate Programs enable you to master the ins and outs of compliance and increase your value to employers, creating opportunities to move into management-level positions.

The Master of Legal Studies is a 30-semester credit program that may be completed entirely online or supplemented with live courses, either full-time or part-time. Students can complete a general MLS or a concentration.

The Certificate Program is a 15-semester credit program that you complete entirely online on a part-time basis.

Aimée Kahan

Director of the Master of Legal Studies Program

Professor Kahan is the director of the Master of Legal Studies Program. She is an experienced legal practitioner and educator with a background in bioethics. A former appellate associate with Reed Smith, Professor Kahan supervised complex discovery proceedings in the U.S. and Europe that focused on compliance issues. She piloted a study on informed consent and helped develop a framework to process privacy data at the Center for Bioethics at the University of Pennsylvania.
