Allowing cameras into the U.S. Supreme Court to capture arguments on the constitutionality of health care reform would serve the public interest, Professor Lisa McElroy wrote in a letter to the editor published in the New York Times on Dec. 10.

Chief Justice John Roberts has yet to answer requests from media outlets to allow cameras in the courtroom during arguments that will be made this spring in the hotly debated case.

McElroy was quoted on the topic in a New York Times article on the question that appeared on Nov. 28.
