Dean Roger Dennis and four members of the faculty are leading a discussion series at the Philadelphia Free Library this winter to help Philadelphia’s senior citizens “think like a lawyer.”

Dennis offered an introduction to the series on Jan. 14, when Professor Lisa McElroy offered her perspectives on “The U.S. Supreme Court and Transparency.”

The series continues on Jan. 27, when Professor David S. Cohen will discuss “Sex, Gender and the Law.”

Professor Robert Field will discuss “U.S. Health Law, the Affordable Care Act and the Supreme Court” on Feb. 17.

The series concludes on Feb. 25, when Professor Norman Stein will present “The History of Retirement in the United States.”

All programs, which are free and open to the public, are held at 11 a.m. in Room 108 of the Parkway Central Library at 1901 Vine St.
