Professor Norman Stein gave a keynote address at the 7th Annual Illinois Public Employment Retirement System Summit in Chicago on May 30. 

An expert on employee benefits, tax and pension law, Stein discussed “Pensions and Community in an Age of Insecurity.” 

He was elected secretary of the Association of American Law Schools Section on Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation and is a member of the GAO's Expert Panel on Retirement Security.  He previously served on the Department of Labor Advisory Council on Employee Welfare and Pension Benefit Plans and was a delegate at the White House Conference on Retirement Savings.
