Professor Bret Asbury returned to his alma marter, Yale Law School, on Feb. 29 to participate in a panel discussion on hip-hop music.

Asbury joined Hofstra Law School Professor Alkilah Folami and rappers Jasiri X and Paradise Gray to discuss hip-hop's transformation from a powerful medium challenging social injustice to a genre dominated by images of violence and misogyny. The discussion was featured in an article by the Yale Daily News.
