Professor Norman Stein was interviewed about J. Mark Iwry, the Treasury Department's senior benefits official, in the article "Iwry is Scholar of Savings" in the June 19, 2010 issue of the Wall Street Journal.

Stein, a nationally recognized expert on tax and pension law, was also quoted in a Reuters News story about current proposals to curb abusive securities sales.

On May 27, Stein testified before the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions on multi-employer pension plans.
