Law: Drexel
Law Participates in the Philadelphia Bar 5K Run
The
event, organized by the Philadelphia
Bar Association to benefit the Support Center for Child
Advocates, is in its 28th year. The event attracts
nearly 1000 runners and walkers of all ages and is
one of the oldest and most respected events of its
kind in the City of Philadelphia. Nine students and
three faculty members from Drexel Law participated
in the run.
In
the legal team competition, the
Drexel Law School team tied for
first place with the Commonwealth
Lawyers team! Megan
Feehan and Sandra Lex came in
first and second in their age
bracket. Assistant
Dean for Career and Professional
Development, Amy
Montemarano,
came in first in her category,
and Senior
Associate Dean for Student Affairs,
Jennifer
L. Rosato, placed second
in her category. Drexel
Law School Dean Roger
J. Dennis (at
left*) also participated in
the run; nearly 800 runners and
walkers joined in this charity
event.
