Network Service in Campus Buildings and VPN was restored to regular operation for all locations on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at 1:22 PM. Informational: There was a high-availability fail over event in the campus routing core that serves building networks (i.e. end users) that may have been briefly visible to some users between 1:17PM and 1:22PM, April 3, 2024. ** This event may or may not have been visible to end user traffic flows depending on what active-active node was carrying a traffic flow, or what type of traffic was involved. ** IT Data Center routing was not impacted.

Wireless Network Maintenance

A planned outage has been scheduled for Wireless Network Service at all locations from Sunday, March 31, 2024 at 6:00 AM until Sunday, March 31, 2024 at 8:00 AM. Drexel Wireless Service (including all DragonFly and Drexel Guest Wireless networks) will experience service interruptions during the advertised time.

Informational - Data Center Network Maintenance

Data Center Network Routing was restored to regular operation for Drexel IT Primary and Secondary Data Centers on Friday, March 29, 2024 at 7:45 AM. Brief maintenance will take place on Drexel IT's data center firewalls during the advertised time. This work should not be user visible due to the active-active high availability configuration deployed. [For IT Staff: Some data streams may experience brief packet loss twice during the maintenance window. But these should be recoverable by TCP or repeat request as is any Internet packet loss.]
