Overview
All students, staff, faculty, and student organizations have permission to post personal web pages on the Drexel "Pages" server, hosted on dunx1.irt.drexel.edu.
To locate a catalog of currently published personal web pages, view Home pages and Services at this address: http://www.pages.drexel.edu/services.
The URL for published personal web pages is in the form:
http://www.pages.drexel.edu/~userid.
Student Organizations
Student organizations who wish to post web pages on the Drexel Pages server must first request recognition via the Office of Campus Activities, Creese Student Center Room 215, 215-895-1328, or askoca@drexel.edu.Once recognized, the organization leader requests a student organization account from accounts@drexel.edu. Student organization accounts cannot be created until the OCA has completed the recognition process.

FAQ
I am unable to access my pages folder via the web - the login screen will not accept my username and password.
Every time I ftp to the pages server, no public_html folder is present
New academic Unix accounts contain a public_html folder upon creation. However, if you have a Unix account that was not created recently, you may need to create the public_html folder. You can use the MKDIR command using SFTP. Most SFTP software programs include a menu item for making new folders or directories.
How do I connect to the academic unix server and transfer files into it?
You need to use an SFTP (secure file transfer protocol) program.

Where can I download a Drexel logo for my website?
I've uploaded my HTML files to the public_html folder on the dunx1 server but I can 't view my web pages.
You need to set the proper permissions for the home directory and public_html folder. Please read Setting Permissions for instructions.
