Changing Permissions on Files
1) Be sure to expand your window so that you can actually see the permissions that are set of your files.
2) After choosing a file, index.html in this case, click on Operation and go down to Properties.
3) This will bring up the file properties box where you can change the permissions with the checkboxes provided or type in the octal valued permission mask. When you are finished click OK.
