Using The Cisco VPN Client in Windows XP: |
| 1. To launch the VPN client, click the Start button, then All Programs, Cisco Systems VPN Client, then "VPN Client". If you'll be connecting frequently, you can put a shortcut to the client on your desktop. To do this, right-click "VPN Client", then select "Send to..." and "Desktop (create shortcut)". |

| 2. To initiate the connection to the Drexel VPN, click "Connect". |

| 3. Enter your Drexel Domain ID and password. This is the same ID and password you used when you downloaded the client software, except you don't need the "drexel\" before . Once you connect, the VPN Client window will automatically minimize to a small yellow padlock icon in the lower right corner of the screen. |

| 4. When you're done doing what you need to do, double-click the yellow padlock icon in the lower right corner of the screen to re-open the VPN Client window and click "Disconnect". |
