Using The Cisco VPN Client in Windows XP:

    1. To launch the VPN client, click the Start button, then All Programs, Cisco Systems VPN Client, then "VPN Client".  If you'll be connecting frequently, you can put a shortcut to the client on your desktop.  To do this, right-click "VPN Client", then select "Send to..." and "Desktop (create shortcut)".
    2. To initiate the connection to the Drexel VPN, click "Connect".
    3. Enter your Drexel Domain ID and password.  This is the same ID and password you used when you downloaded the client software, except you don't need the "drexel\" before .  Once you connect, the VPN Client window will automatically minimize to a small yellow padlock icon in the lower right corner of the screen.
    4. When you're done doing what you need to do, double-click the yellow padlock icon in the lower right corner of the screen to re-open the VPN Client window and click "Disconnect".
