Preparing Windows XP to use the Cisco VPN Client: |
| 1. Click the Start button in the lower left corner, then click "Control Panel". |

| 2. Click "Network and Internet Connections". |
 |
| 3. Click "Network Connections". |
 |
| 4. Right-click your "Local Area Connection" and click "Properties". |
 |
| 5. Under "This connection uses the following items:", scroll down and click to highlight "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)", then click "Properties". |

| 6. Click the "Advanced" button near the bottom right corner of the Properties window. |
 |
| 7. Click the "WINS" tab, then click "Add" to enter the Drexel WINS servers: 144.118.25.118 and 144.118.25.31. Near the bottom of the window click to select "Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP". Now that Windows is prepared to connect to the Drexel VPN, you can Install The New Cisco VPN Client. |
