| Unfortunately, because of the way that Apple licenses the Macintosh OS, IRT is not able to provide Leopard (OS X 10.5) for members of the University community. Unlike Microsoft Windows, Mac OS is not available in an "Upgrade" form. |
| However, as a member of the Drexel community, you can purchase a copy of Leopard directly from Apple at the "Academic" price of $69.00 (as of 11/29/07). Also, departments that wish to purchase multiple copies (10 or more), volume pricing is available. To get to the Apple Online Store, you can go to the IRT Apple Purchases page and click on the appropriate link for Personal or Departmental purchases. |
