Did You Know?

This series of trainings will be open and available to everyone through Collaborate. Registration is not required to attend. The sessions will be an hour in length and will cover a specific tool from Learn so that you will know not only how to use it, but why you would want to use it.

Grade Center

When you create graded items within your Learn course, a column is automatically added to the Grade Center for that item. However, you can also created manual columns, for things you might collect in class, as well as calculated columns that allow you to combine different columns. Along with that, you can decide which columns your students will see and how they see it. Join us to find out how and why you would use this tool in your course.​

Transitioning Between Terms

As the term comes to a close, you want to make sure that, if necessary, your course end dates are extended. Also, you will be looking to the next term, where you will need to copy content forward, clean up dates and do any other quarterly chores. This session will review some best practices for winding down for the current term and gearing up for the next, including how to easily update dates across your course.​
