Bb Vista Full Day Workshops
Bb Vista Full Day Workshops offer instructors (along with TAs and administrators)
a chance to explore Bb Vista so they can decide how to use it:
- in conjunction with their face-to-face courses
- in a blended learning environment (partly face-to-face and partly online)
- in completely online courses.
Whether instructors use Vista as a supplementary tool or for complete
online course delivery, the Vista Workshop will get you up and running.
Your TAs and administrators are welcome to sign up as well, of course.
(These sessions are NOT for students, however.)
If you have not used Vista in the past, you will need to sign up for a
full-day Bb Vista Workshop . These sessions fill up fast – reserve
your slot early! The beginning of the morning session is an overview and the rest
of the day is "hands-on", so we will have some practice content for you to
use or bring your own content such as a Syllabus, PowerPoint presentation,
MS-word docs, html pages, etc.
We supply the Windows laptops and lunch!

Bb Vista 2-Hour Sessions
If you have used Vista in the past but want a refresher, or have specific
features and functions that you would like us to cover – you should
attend a Bb Vista Workshop to learn more – and – to
enhance your Vista skills and your use of its features and functions. Bb
Vista Sessions are only available to those who have attended a full-day Workshops in the past.
Remember – using Vista in conjunction with your face-to-face class is a
perfect way to begin using some of its many capabilities! You will get some great ideas
on how to enhance the learning and classroom environment, in these sessions.

Bb Vista training workshops are moving to a new format:
Starting in spring term, 2007, we will offer 2-hour sessions on various Vista topics. Schedule: TBD.
