Installation Instructions

Internet Explorer on Microsoft Windows

1. Click here.
2. Click the "Open" button.
3. Click the "Details" tab and verify that the SHA1 Fingerprint matches the certificate fingerprint.
4. Once the fingerprint has been verified, click the "General" tab and the "Install Certificate" button in the dialog box.

Firefox 2.0.0.x on Microsoft Windows

1. Click here. Save the certificate to your computer.
2. Click Tools -> Options.
3. A dialogue box will appear. Click the "Advanced" tab.
4. Click the "Encryption" tab.
5. Click "View Certificates"
6. Click the "Authorities" tab.
7. Click "Import."
8. Navigate to the certificate file you saved to your computer (DrexelUniversity-cacert.crt)
9. A dialogue box will appear. Check all three boxes
   • Trust this CA to identify web sites.
   • Trust this CA to identify email users.
   • Trust this CA to identify software developers.
10. Click the "View" button and verify that the SHA1 and MD5 fingerprints match the certificate fingerprints.
11. Click "OK" to install the certificate.
