Click here to use the Dragonfly3 Installation Wizard

Due to a change at Drexel’s security vendor, people who use DragonFly3, but haven’t updated their wireless settings using the new DragonFly3 Installation Wizard will need to do so by Friday, September 30, 2011 to ensure uninterrupted service. New students and others who recently configured wireless access using the Wizard may ignore this message because the settings in your wireless devices are already up-to-date.

You should update your settings as soon as practical.  On Friday, September 30, devices that haven’t been updated won’t be able to access DragonFly3.  If this happens to you, connect to the Drexel Guest network and click the link for the DragonFly3 Installation Wizard.  The Installation Wizard will update your configuration and connect you to DragonFly3.

For more information or further assistance please call 215-895-2020.

Notes for Windows Systems

Updating is particularly important for all Windows Operating Systems. If you fail to update your Windows configuration, you will be unable to connect to DragonFly3.  Your Windows computer will fail to connect without providing a visible error message or it will  repeatedly prompt you to enter your username and password without ever connecting to the network.

Notes for Macintosh and iOS Devices

To follow best security practices and to avoid being prompted to accept a new security certificate, IRT recommends that Macintosh and iPhone/iPad/iTouch users update using the DragonFly3 Installation Wizard.  If you do not, you will be prompted to accept a new security certificate before successfully connecting to the network.
