Virtual Private Network (VPN)

Cisco VPN (Virtual Private Network) software provides secure access to restricted computing resources at Drexel such as network file servers and restricted Web pages from off-campus.

Installing Software and Using VPN

To use the VPN you'll need to install the VPN client software. Cisco provides vpn software for a variety of computer platforms, including MS Windows, Apple OS X (10.2 and up), as well as Unix platforms.

Because IRT only offers end-user support for the Windows and Mac platforms, clients for alternate platforms, while available for donwload via our software page, are considered "unsupported". It is expected that users opting to run alternative operating systems are familiar enough with their respective systems/platforms to be self-supporting. It can be downloaded on our software site.
