Windows Live's SkyDrive, associated with Microsoft's Live@Edu email acounts, is the featured storage medium for Hotmail and Exchange Labs. SkyDrive offers 5 GB of free storage space that is accessible from any PC or Web-enable mobile device. Files may be dragged and dropped directly into your SkyDrive storage space.

Files in your SkyDrive storage space may be kept private, directly linked to, or shared with friends, classmates, co-workers — you name it. Personal folders can be set aside for documents only you may view, and and Shared folders can be used to allow others to view or add documents.
